According to the Society of Human Resources Management racial inequity at work has cost U.S. Corporations more than $170 billion over the past five years. Additionally, a recent study by the Center for Talent Innovation found that more than 1/3rd of Black professionals intend to leave their companies within two years. More often than not, those professionals cite lack of sponsorship, feeling excluded, lack of understanding of their new environment, and a lack of acceptance by C-suite peers.  It doesn’t have to be this way.
